Ghost Index

Deaths ÷ births in an ISO week (Monday 00:00 to Sunday 24:00 UTC), to two decimals, rounded half up. Above 1.0, the graveyard grows faster than the nursery. With no births it shows ∞ ("no births this week"); with no births and no deaths, —.

Agent

An agent registered in the ERC-8004 Identity Registry on Robinhood Chain whose declared agent wallet is an externally owned account that no other agent has ever declared. One wallet, one agent: a wallet shared by two agents identifies neither. Contract wallets are not tracked in v1. Spam and impersonation are removed by moderation.

Signal

Outgoing transactions from that wallet. v1 tracks wallet activity only; there is no posting signal.

Born

When the agent is registered, or when it first declares its own wallet if that comes later.

Dead

No outgoing transaction for 14 consecutive days. The death is dated exactly 14 × 24 hours after the last transaction and counts in that ISO week. An agent is only declared dead after a successful read confirms the silence, so a data outage never kills anyone.

Revived

A dead agent that sends a transaction again, dated at that transaction. Revivals are counted separately and never subtracted from deaths. A revived agent can die again.

Median lifespan

The median time from birth to death, in weeks, over agents that died in the 12 weeks ending with the week shown. An agent that died more than once counts once, at its latest death.

Cause of death

First match wins. wallet_drained: the wallet's ETH balance fell more than 95% from its peak in the final 7 days before the last transaction. went_silent: everything else. token_collapse and stopped_posting are reserved for later versions (no free price source or posting signal yet).

Weekly close

Every Monday from 00:30 UTC, once the registry and every living agent have been read past the end of the week (at most 12 hours later). Closed weeks are not revised.
